Every pilot knows the importance of accurate weight and balance data. Alaskan Airplane Maintenance can provide weight and balance services for everything from Ultra-Lights to Douglas DC-6's

Weighing Aircraft:

AAM offers complete aircraft re-weighing.
Our system is calibrated annually and can offer certified weight and balance data, even for your Part 135 aircraft.
We use calibrated Evergreen weigh load cells.
We have scales capable of weighing aircraft up to 75,000 pounds.
Done by an A&P mechanic with over 48 years of experience.
Weighing accurate to 0.25% of recorded weight.
Service is mobile and performed at your location (in hanger preferred).
We provide a comprehensive report that includes:      
Basic empty weight
Basic operating weight
Center of gravity as percent of MAC
Updated equipment list
Gross Weight
Useful Load

Why Perform Aircraft Weighing?

To Determine location of empty C.G.
Location can change with service life and alterations
Location can change by adding or subtracting equipment.
Use known baseline weight and C.G. location from which to determine loaded configurations.
